Bulgaria Captain and Manchester United star Dimitar Berbatov has criticized the state of the Polonia stadium pitch in Warsaw ahead of the friendly with Poland on Wednesday evening.

Berbatov spoke after Bulgaria’s training session on the Polonia pitch on Wednesday morning. He said; "The terrain is not very pleasant, but we can not change anything."

Regarding Bulgaria’s chances of qualifying for Euro 2012, for which Poland is the joint host country with the Ukraine, Berbatov added; "We can embrace and promise to qualify, but everything is decided on the pitch. There is still plenty of time to the beginning of the European qualifications...The draw is difficult, but we must cope with it."
