Italian giants Juventus are set to make an offer for Manchester City and Bulgaria winger Martin Petrov during the summer according to reports in the Italian media.

"Corriere della Serra" reported Tuesday that 31-year-old Petrov, whose contract with City expires in the summer, is allegedly ready to leave the Premiership, even though he has undergone a recent renaissance under the leadership of Roberto Mancini.

Petrov admitted he is happy at Eastlands and wants to remain there, despite interest from elsewhere after his failed transfer to Spurs in the winter.

“Other clubs do want me - that is normal at this stage of a contract - but I have not had conversations with them because I want to stay here,” he said in January.
