Canada won the gold in the men's hockey tournament of the Vancouver Winter Olympics after beating the USA in the final.

After 2:2 in the regular time, the Canadians beat the Americans by scoring in the extra time.

Canada was in the lead for the entire match, with the Americans equalizing only 20 seconds before the end of the regular time.
