Finland Grabs Olympics Hockey Bronze after Beating Slovakia

Finland has triumphed 5:3 over Slovakia in the dramatic third-place match in the men’s hockey tournament at the Vancouver Winter Olympics.

Even though Slovakia was in the lead 3:1 after the second third, Finland managed to regroup and scored four unanswered goals in the third period.

The fourth-place finish in the men’s hockey tournament is Slovakia’s best Olympic result.

The final match between the USA and Canada is scheduled for 3:15 pm Eastern Time on February 28, 2010.
