The Prosecutor's office issued an order Tuesday afternoon to reopen the central offices of the insurance company “Lev Ins.”

The offices of the Bulgarian Insurance Company were sealed in connection with the high-profile police operation, codenamed “Octopus.”

The company is now doing business as usual, receiving customers, paying and signing new policies, the CEO, Stefan Sofiyanski, informs.

Earlier Tuesday, the management of “Lev Ins” declared the closing of some of their offices and the seizing of company documents by the police illegal.

“Lev Ins” extends gratitude to the Prosecutor's office and all authorities for the assistance and the collaboration and wishes them success in the fight against organized crime.

“Lev Ins” became tangled in the special police operation “Octopus” after the February 10 arrest of Aleksei Petrov and 13 other individuals charged with various crimes.
