Bulgaria's Sofia Airport Gets Zero Growth of Passengers Y/Y

Bulgaria’s Sofia Airport has registered a growth of 0,03% of the number of passengers it serviced in January 2010 year-on-year.

A total of 262 596 passengers went through the Sofia Airport in January 2010 compared to only 90 fewer – 262 506 in January 2009.

According to data of the Sofia Airport, international charter flights saw an 8% increase largely thanks to the Bulgaria Air company whose market share has grown to reach 34% of the total number of tourist charter flights landing in Sofia.
