Bulgaria's alleged top criminal boss Nikolay Marinov aka the Little Marguin, who is still missing, will be tried in his absence.

There is a State-wide and European arrest warrant for the Little Marguin after he failed to appear at the last court session in the case against him, his brother Krasimir aka the Big Marguin, and four other defendants. The Court then changed Marinov's bail to “permanent detention.”

The six are tried for ordering three murders for hire.

Nikolay Marinov is also wanted in connection with the murder of controversial Bulgarian radio host, Bobi Tsankov.

The whereabouts of the Little Marguin are unknown and he went into hiding after the police arrested and charged his brother Krasimir aka the Big Marguin.

Tsankov was gunned down in broad daylight in downtown Sofia on January 5. The Prosecutor says the Marguin brothers ordered his assassination because the journalist was going to provide a strong witness against them.
