Pavlov's Father Had No Clue about Daughter's Murder in US

Businessman Pavel Naydenov, father of killed Bulgarian tycoon Iliya Pavlov, has learned from the media the news about the murder of his daughter Slavka Naydenova and his grandson in the US.

When contacted by the Bulgarian media early Wednesday morning, Naydenov had no clue that his daughter Slavka Naydenova had been killed in her home in Dale City, Virginia, more than 24 hours ago.

“Dear God… What is this thing now… I know nothing, I can’t say anything,” Pavel Naydenov told Pro BG TV while trying to find out more about the incident.

He could not venture any guesses as to what the reason for the murder of his daughter might be.

Naydenov said his daughter did not participate in any firms, and had no financial trouble. “She is paying her loans, living like everybody else,” he stated.

The father revealed he last talked over the phone with his daughter 3-4 days ago, and that shortly before that a women living in the US, who is close with Naydenova, brought to him photos of his grandson, second-grader Paul Wilson, who was murdered together with his mother.

Naydenov said that some kind of family quarrel might have caused the murder but he himself had had no information.

His son, shady Bulgarian tycoon, Iliya Pavlov, was murdered in Sofia in March 2003.
