No Contact from Bulgarian Crew on Somali Pirate Hijacked Ships

The Bulgarian sailors who were kidnapped by Somali pirates at the start of January have not been in contact with their families since the start of last week, Prodan Radanov from the UK Zodiac company reported Thursday.

Rodanov confirmed that at the last contact the crews oin board the “The Asian Glory” and the chemical tanker "St James Park" were in good health and had good supplies of water and food.

Radanov works for the the UK Zodiac company, operates “The Asian Glory” and the chemical tanker "St James Park", which were both hijacked by Somali pirates in early January, with a total of 13 Bulgarian crew members on board.

Radanov concluded that there have been no indications of any developments in the negotiations with the Somali pirates on board both ships.
