Spokesperson: Bulgarian Socialists Will Not Support Govt Reshuffle

The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) will not support the proposed reshuffle of ministers and changes in the government, according to their spokesperson, Kornelia Ninova.

"We are strongly in opposition and we will vote against the Cabinet and the proposed changes in the government. Our position is clear and we are consistent, unlike Ivan Kostov [from the rightist Blue Coalition], who has recently been inconsistent in what he does," Ninova stated on Saturday.

According to her, there will not be a positive attitude on the part of the public towards the cabinet of GERB, because the consequences of the crisis are really affecting them seriously, but tangible steps to improve their condition are not apparent.

Ninova maintained that her parliamentary colleagues would proceed in the same way as they had with the adoption of the first GERB cabinet. She stated that said she could not see how the reshuffle would alter these attitudes.
