CSKA Sofia coach Lyuboslav Penev has resigned from his post along with the whole coaching staff of the top Bulgarian club.

Penev and his team will meet Thursday with the owner of CSKA Dimitar Borisov and will specify details about the termination of contracts.

Local media reports suggest that ex CSKA coach Serbian, Miodrag Jesic, will replace Penev and will bring in a Serbian group of coaching staff.

Jesic signed a one-year-contract in July 2009 with Libyan First League team Al Ittihad. On 22 September 2009, Al Ittihad won the Libyan Super Cup.

Lyoboslav Penev's time in charge of CSKA was tainted with controversy including a travel ban over his default BGN 2 M loan from EIBank.

Lyuboslav Penev was appointed CSKA Sofia coach in the spring of 2009 after replacing his legendary uncle Dimitar Penev.
