Thousands Bulgarians Welcome New Year with Goran Bregovic

Balkan music guru Goran Bregovi? and his Weddings and Funerals Orchestra performed on New Year’s Eve on Sofia’s central square, a concert that was attended by thousands of citizens and visitors of the capital.

Bregovi? was the main star of this year’s New Year’s Eve concert in Sofia organized by the Bulgarian national television (BNT), which marked its 50th anniversary. His fee has been set at EUR 110,000.

The concert lasted for an hour and a half and was aired live.

The December 31 concerts in downtown Sofia, organized by the Bulgarian national television (BNT), have become a traditional way for the citizens and visitors of the capital to see the New Year in.
