Daniela Borisova, 39, from Suhindol, who was reported kidnapped earlier Friday, is being interrogated by the Varna police.

The information was announced by Darik radio. According to the report, the woman has been taken to the police precinct in the Black Sea capital by the alleged abductors.

The two men have been identified. They told the Varna police that Borisova had left with them on her own will and this was not an abduction case. They say they took the woman to the police so that she herself can testify and confirm the above.

The incident happened in the central town of Suhindol. Around 4 am the local police received a call from a man saying his wife has been kidnapped.

The husband, Boris Borisov, who has a long wrap sheet for theft, explained two men entered his house in the wee hours and demanded that he repays the BGN 400 he owed them. Upon realizing Borisov does not have the money, the two took his wife and drove with her in a dark automobile.

The investigation in the case continues.
