Bulgarian Singer Maria Ilieva Tops Australian Music Charts

Bulgarian singing star Maria Ilieva and American DJ Keith Thompson have reached the top of the charts of the most popular Australian radio station, ZFM.

After conquering the Bulgarian radio charts, the fresh summer sound of the song “Truly”, by duo Maria Ilieva and Keith Thompson, also went down well with Australian listeners.

ZFM dance radio station No1 in Sydney, ranked the single at the top of its prestigious international chart.

The music of “Truly” was composed by Thompson himself, who, impressed by the talent of Maria, decided to write a song specially for the two of them.

The song is part of Maria Ilieva’s new album, which she has devoted to acoustic soul and vocal house.

The song attracted exceptional interest by many international DJs, among whom are the Bass Monkeys, leaders of the London club scene.

Their summer disco-house mix is one of the most popular versions to date, as is the version which Maria Ilieva and Keith Thompson selected for their video single.

Keith Thompson is an American DJ, who started his career in the early 80's, but who long ago broke through the boundaries of club audience performances. His joint piece with David Vendetta "Break 4 Love" is among the Top 10 on Billboard charts for electronic music and one of the most successful club hits worldwide in recent years.

Later in December, his new single, "Remedy" (Thompsonic Recordings), will be on sale, presented in Bulgaria by Stereo Room.
