The Executive Committee of the Bulgarian Football Union (BFU) has sacked the whole of the referee commission Monday.

BFU Executive Committee member Nasko Sirakov announced the news Monday and added that there is also a need to exert more control over the next referee commission.

The referees from recent cup matches between Cherno More- Levski Sofia and CSKA Sofia – Litex Lovech have been suspended indefinitely.

On January 18, 2010 will a regular meeting of the BFU Executive Committee will decide if the BFU decisions should be approved.

On September 4 the BFU gave four-match bans to two referees for poor officiating in recent league games - leading to new suspicions of match-fixing on a major scale.
