Ex Bulgaria Parliament Speaker Injured in Deadly Car Crash

The former speaker of the Bulgarian Parliament, Borislav Velikov, has been injured in a deadly car crash in Sofia Saturday.

The accident that happened in between the Sofia neighborhoods of Ilientsi and Trebich between an Audi and Moskvich, ended in the Moskvich driver being killed.

An ex-MP from the NMSP party of former Tsar and Prime Minister, Simeon Saxe-Coburg, Velikov has been taken to Pirogov hospital in Sofia after receiving injuries to the chest and abdomen.

Local police, firemen and ambulance services all rushed to the scene of the accident to assist the victims of the crash.
