A man has been found shot dead in his car close to Asenovgrad in the village of Bachkovo, South Bulgaria, local police reported Saturday.

The unidentified 40-year-old man, who has not got a criminal record, was found dead in his Renault Megane on the road outside the Bachkovo Monastery.

Local police working at the scene confirmed that the man had been shot in the head 4 times from close range just outside his car.
