Bulgaria Police Report 1 Dead, 3 Missing after Sofia House Fire

A 50-year-old man died when a fire swept through a large family home in the Malashevtsi neighborhood of Sofia early Friday.

Sofia Fire fighters reported that 3 other people are also missing including a 1-year-old baby. The fire started at around 1 am and neighbors reported that a large explosion of gas cylinders had caused the fire.

Local police are currently following up reports that there were 3 other people in the house at the time of the fire – including the man’s wife and 1-year-old baby.
