AmCham Makes Thanksgiving Gift to Bulgaria Orphans

The American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria is going to donate BGN 20 000 to orphanages in Sofia and Stara Zagora.

The charity also includes scholarship for orphans who are high school seniors.

BGN 16 000 were collected during the charity Thanksgiving dinner last Thursday. The funds were raised through an auction including different art objects, collectable items, holiday vouchers and gifts provided by businesses, members of the Chamber, through a raffle and the payments made in order to attend the dinner.

The remaining BGN 4 000 have been collected during the celebration of the US Independence Day ion July 4, organized by the Chamber.
