Severe Truck Crash Closes Sofia Beltway

A horrific crash of two trucks on the northern arc of the Sofia beltway has led to the closure of the road as emergency teams have rushed to the spot.

The causes of the crash in which the two trucks hit which driving in the opposing lanes are still unknown.

The condition of one of the drivers is critical. The Civil Protection, fire brigade, and police units have diverted the traffic to nearby roads. Both trucks have Bulgarian registration plates.
