A DPS party council at the town of Sandanski has been sentenced as a pimp.
Ventsislav Ivanov, a municipal council in the southwest Bulgarian town of Sandanski, has been sentenced for procuring.
Ivanov who is from the ethnic Turkish party DPS has received 1 year in jail. He also got another six months on a separate charge for a theft.
The sentenced can be appealed in the District Court in Blagoevgrad within 15 days.
