Dimitar Berbatov, Manchester United’s Bulgarian forward, has recovered from his recent injury, and will now be available for Sunday’s fixture with Chelsea.

Berbatov sustained the injury last weekend, and was sidelined for the Champions League 3:3 drawn encounter against Russian CSKA Moscow last Wednesday.

Manager Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed that both Berbatov and Nemanja Vidic, who was also out of action through injury, would be available for Sunday’s big battle.

Things, though, are not good for Rio Ferdinand, and Park Ji-Sung is out because damage to his knee. Gary Neville has been disciplined, while Owen Hargreaves will renew training in about 10 days.

“Vidic trained the last few days and should be OK. Berbatov got a kick and today we will see how he works out in training but, according to me, he'll be OK. Rio and Park are definitely out. Gary is punished, of course. Apart from these problems, all other players are healthy and ready for the big match", said Ferguson.

United’s prospects for the weekend are now considerably improved. On Thursday, Novinte.com reported on the team’s fitness problems, with Berbatov and Vidic both out of the running.
