Dimitar Berbatov, the Bulgarian Manchester United forward, remains doubtful for Sunday’s match against Chelsea. 

The Bulgarian team captain, who did not play when it his team drew 3:3 with CSKA Moscow in the Champion's League, continues to have injury problems and still does not know whether he will be fit enough to appear at Stamford Bridge.

Defender Rio Ferdinand and half-back Darren Fletcher are almost certain not to travel to London, and it has emerged that Ferdinand still has back problems, rather than a calf injury, as Alex Ferguson had previously stated.

Fletcher revealed that he has to undergo surgery because he still feels pain in his ankle. He will likely miss the top derby fixture of the British Premier League.
