Bulgaria Takes over Chairing of Black Sea Economic Cooperation

Azerbaijan handed over to Bulgaria the chairmanship of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) during an official ceremony Thursday.

Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister, Arman Kirakosyan, spoke during the 21st meeting of the BSEC Council of Foreign Ministers, saying the resolution for the guarantee of regional issues is an establishment of multilateral economic cooperation between the BSEC countries without preconditions.

He further praised the progress achieved in that direction by the signing of the Armenia-Turkey Protocols October 10 in Zurich.

The Secretary General of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC), Leonidas Chrysanthopoulos, also spoke about Armenia-Turkey Protocols, saying the documents are of great importance for the establishment and development of regional cooperation as well as collaboration in the frames of BSEC.
