The striker of the Bulgarian National Football Team, Valeri Bojinov, scored the only goal for his Italian team Parma in its 1:0 win over Siena in Sunday’s Serie A match.

Bojinov had a very successful game after scoring in the fifth minute. He demonstrated his good form in a Parma friendly against Fornova last week where he scored 4 goals.

Some half an hour after he scored, Bojinov had a second shot on goal but missed closely. He was replaced in the 65th minute.

This is Bojinov’s second goal in this year’s edition of Serie A. His first goal was against Lazio when Parma won 2:1. With Sunday’s win, Parma is fifth in the Serie A ranking.

Bojinov is the second Bulgarian to play for Parma after Bulgarian legend Hristo Stoichkov played for it in the late 1990s.
