Bulgaria Interior Minister Dismisses 5 Regional Police Chiefs

Bulgaria’s Interior Minister, Tsvetan Tsvetanov, issued Friday an order for the discharge of the Chiefs of 5 Regional Police Directorates.

The new was announced by the Interior Ministry’s Pres Center.

The motives for the replacement of the Police Chiefs of the Pleven, Shumen, Gabrovo, Lovech and Pernik Regions are stated as optimization of the work of the local Interior structures and the increase of their efficiency.
