Boryana Manolova Appointed CEO of Siemens Bulgaria

Boryana Manolova is the new CEO of Siemens Bulgaria, the company announced Tuesday.

Manolova, who is a member of the Control Council of the Bulgarian Confederation of Employers and Industrials, replaces German Kurt Heinschitz at the post.

The new CEO has a Masters Degree in Micro Electronics from the Ruse Technical University and a Masters Degree in Corporate Finance from the Business University in the city of Svishtov. She is fluent in English, German and Russian.

Manolova began her professional career as a senior expert at the Employment Agency of the Bulgarian Ministry of Labor and Social Policy in 1995. In 1997, she became Regional Director of the Foreign Investment Agency in the Danube city of Ruse. From 1998 until 2007, Manolova was the manager of the Swedish branch of the Atlas Copco company and later managed the Bulgarian M-Gaz.
