Only 2 of Ireland's 43 constituencies have rejected the ratification of the Lisbon Treaty.

This has been announced by Irish Prime Minister Brian Cowen as cited by the Irish Times.

The votes have already been counted in all 43 constituencies. The "yes" side has 67,1% compared to 46,6% in the first referendum in June 2009. The turnout is 59%.

The only two constituencies to reject the Lisbon Treaty are Donegal North East and Donegal South West.
