It is still unclear whether the two Bulgarians and two Ukrainians buried under a collapsed building in Prague Friday evening are dead or alive.

Bulgaria’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Dragovest Goranov said there was no official information from the Czech authorities about killed Bulgarian citizens as a result of the accident.

According to the Czech media, fire brigade squads have already started rescue efforts on the spot.

It is still unclear why the old building collapsed. Reports say the four men trapped under the wreckage were workers.

According to the correspondent of the Russian news agency RIA Novosti, the collapse happened inside the old building which was under reconstruction.
