Bomb Threat Evacuates Upscale Sofia Hotel

The Sofia Police Directorate received Tuesday evening a bomb threat for the upscale hotel “Kempinski Zografski.”

An anonymous phone call was made around 6:55 pm and a male voice reported there was a bomb at the hotel.

The building is currently checked by special task force verifying if there are explosives inside.

All guests and hotel staff have been evacuated and the area sealed off. Authorities are also tracing the call.
