Bulgaria Social Assistance Agency to Improve Handicap Access

The Bulgarian Agency for Social Assistance receives Friday two contracts for free financial aid from the Ministry of Regional Development.

The Agency is given BGN 5,5 M for reconstruction and modernization to facilitate access of handicap people to the buildings where the Agency's offices are located.

The resources will also be used for providing more energy efficiency in those facilities.

The renovations include 89 Directorates "Social Assistance" and their branches in 81 municipalities.
