Registered Cabs only to Pick up Clients at Sofia Airport

Only cabs which have official permission and license to be allowed to pick up clients at the airport at the Bulgarian capital Sofia.

This proposal has come from the National Carriers Association, its chair, Rumen Krumov, announced Monday in an interview for Darik Radio.

He has already discussed the idea with the Transport Minister, Alexander Tsvetkov, during their firs meeting, and the minister agreed.

"Technically explained, the unregistered cabs, which are not included in the list of carriers that have won the public procurement, will not be allowed to transport clients from the airport. Not when they are transporting someone to the airport - no one can forbid that, but they to be clearly restrained from taking passengers from their", Tsvetkov explained.
