Bulgaria Prosecutor to Probe 5 Hospitals

Bulgaria’s Health Minister, Bozhidar Nanev informed, there is currently political will to deal with fraud at medical facilities and to give them more financial resources.

Five Bulgarian hospitals will be investigated by the Prosecutor's Office, Health Minister, Bozhidar Nanev informed.

Nanev, who spoke late Saturday in a special interview for Darik radio, said the charges include fraud and money draining, but declined to name the hospitals.

Nanev further pointed out that Bulgaria could deal with fraud practices at medical facilities, but the big problem they are facing is the lack of enough finances, adding there was now political will to slate more money for Bulgaria's health care.
