A 50-year-old Bulgarian has been arrested in the Glyfada quarter of the Greek capital Athens for human trafficking.

The man forced six other Bulgarian citizens, who are crippled, including a 12-year-old boy, to beg in the streets of Athens, and kept most of the money the beggars made. All seven of them - the six beggars and their boss - have been detained and brought before a prosecutor, the Greek agency ANA-MPA reported as cited by BNR.

The man who ran the group usually distributed the beggars to their "work places" by a car, in which the Greek police found several artificial limbs that he kept during the day and gave back to the beggars at the end of their "shifts".
