Bulgaria Reaches Semi-Finals at Euro Volleyball Championship

Bulgaria won a crushing 3:1 victory against the Netherlands on Wednesday, securing them a semi-final spot at the European Volleyball championship in Turkey.

The win comes after four successive victories and makes Thursday game against favorites Russia irrelevant ahead of the semi-finals.

The Bulgarian team had to fight with utmost determination to get over the Netherlands and it was only the first game that they won with ease (25:15).

The second game was a close one with 26:24. It was followed by a loss in the third one (21:25) before ending up with a dramatic final game, in which they managed to snatch away a victorious (28:26).
