The fatal excursion of Bulgarian tourists to Macedonia, in which 15 of them drowned Saturday in the Ohrid Lake, has not even been organized by a firm but by a "physical person".

According to Lyubomir Hristov, head of the "Automobile Administration" Executive Agency, the trip has been ordered by Boryana Georgieva, who is the wife of the owner of the Klyunchev Ltd transport firm - the first name of a firm that appeared in the media as related to the terrible tragedy in the Ohrid Lake.

The tourists were transported to Macedonia by the transport firm Berti 13; it is registered in Sofia and does not have a license for international passenger travels, Hristov said as cited by Darik Radio.

The other firm, whose name has been mentioned in connection with the Ohrid accident - Solak Tour - has given Berti 13 both one of its buses and its license for the trip to Macedonia.

Boryana Georgieva, the wife of Ivan Klyunchev who is the owner of Klyunchev Ltd, traveled with the group of Bulgarian tourists. She was also on the fatal Ilinden ship when it sank in Ohrid but is among the survivors. She has organized the trip on her own by collecting money from the tourists (each of whom paid BGN 150 for the trip), and hiring the bus.
