The mother of Bulgarian Spaska Mitrova, who is in jail in Macedonia, has received a letter from Macedonian President Georgi Ivanov stating that he has not received the clemency request for her daughter.

Spaska Mitrova's mother Susanna stated that; "It is interesting how he knows that there is a similar letter, but does not know where the letter is," BGNES reported.

Susanna Mitrova again expressed his anger about the behavior of the Macedonian authorities. She alleged that the letter was sent on 30 June this year.

Her daughter Spaska Mitrova was recently sentenced to 3 months in jail even though she recently had a baby, because she did not allow her former husband to stay at her parents' home in order to visit their older child after their divorce.

The reasons why Mitrova requested a divorce included her former husband constantly abusing her physically, and insulting her because of her national identity.
