Bulgaria Sees Two Train Accidents, No Injuries

Two train accidents have occurred in different parts of Bulgaria, but no injuries have been reported.

A train on the Svilengrad-Plovdiv line crashed into a truck, which irregularly crossed the railway, the Bulgarian National Radio reported.

The Accident happened at 10.50 am on Monday. The collision between the train and the truck caused the truck to turn over. The train locomotive suffered extensive damage.

The Ministry of Transportation, Information Technology, and Communication announced another train incident.

Around 9.20 am on Monday, a fire broke out on the locomotive of a train traveling from Black Sea coast city of Burgas to the capital Sofia. It was immediately extinguished by the crew.

No injuries were reported. Another locomotive was sent to take the train.
