The cause of the death of Michael Jackson was an overdose of the powerful anesthetic Propofol.

This has been established for certain by the official forensic expertise based on the results from the autopsy of the King of Pop who died at the age of 51 at the end of June, BGNES reported.

Jacko had passed out and stopped breathing by the time he was taken to the hospital. His doctor, Conrad Murray, who is the main suspect for causing Jackson's death, gave him a Propofol injection shortly before that.

According to some US media, Murray got the painkiller from a drugstore in Las Vegas, and gave it to his patients against insomnia.
