Barrichello Triumphs in Valencia Formula 1 European Grand Prix

Brazilian driver Rubens Barrichello won the Formula 1 European Grand Prix in Spain's Valencia on Sunday.

Thus, Barrichello, who drives for Brawn GP, has won the 10th victory of his career, and his first since the Chinese Grand Prix of 2004 when he drove for Ferrari. With Sunday's victory, he climbed to the second place in the Formula 1 title race after the leader, fellow Brawn GP driver Jenson Button.

Present world champion, Lewis Hamilton of the McLaren Mercedes team, was in the lead until a bad pit stop on Lap 37. Barrichello took advantage even though he had started from the third position.

Hamilton came in second, followed by Kimi Raikkonen of Ferrari. Jenson Button finished seventh.
