Bulgaria's Prime Minister Boyko Borisov has issued orders for the appointment of another eight deputy ministers, bringing to an end the building of teams in twelve out of fifteen ministries.

Lilyana Nikolova, Ekaterina Gecheva Zaharieva and Georgi Pregyov have been appointed deputies of Bulgaria's new Regional Development Minister Rosen Plevneliev.

Evgeni Anguelov, Maya Hristova and Ivo Marinov will serve as deputies to the Economy, Energy and Tourism Minister Traicho Traikov.

Dimitar Dereliev officially enters into office as deputy culture minister and Valentin Radev as deputy defense minister.

Experts and businessmen, not political figures, have been invited as deputy ministers in Bulgaria's new center-right government of GERB party, most of whom have already been presented.

In line with his vow to cut down the bloated administration, save on government expenses and cull ministries, Prime Minister Boyko Borisov has limited the number of deputy ministers up to three.
