Madonna, Beyonce, Mariah Carey In Michael Jackson Tribute Album

Top celebrity singers including Madonna, Beyonce Knowles, and Mariah Carey are planning to issue a Michael Jackson tribute album.

The other stars who are likely to participate in the initiative to recognize Jacko's contribution to pop music are Whitney Houston, Robbie Williams, Lionel Richie, and potentially Stevie Wonder and Diana Ross, BGNES reported.

The idea for the tribute album came from the memorial concert to honor Michael Jackson who died at the age of 50 on June 25, 2009. Each of the stars is going to participate in the album with their favorite Michael Jackson song.

The songs expected to be on the album include "I'll Be There", "Who's Loving You", "Ben", 'Man In The Mirror', 'Rock With You', 'She's Out Of My Life' and 'Bad'.

The stars are also planning to participate in a tribute concert for the King of Pop on the occasion of Jackson's 51st birthday, 29 August 2009, in London where he was going to give 50 concerts for his "This Is It" tour.
