The murder of the Belneyski sisters was committed on "Graf Ignatiev" street in Pazardzhik according to the teacher Kalina Yaneva.

Yaneva, who after three years, spoke again about the case, stated that if she saw the two men who were carrying the sisters' bodies again she could recognize them, in an interview for Darik Radio.

Yaneva said that on January 30 2006, when she saw the men and the girls for the second time, one of the men was disturbed by her presence. In her words, he tried to hit her with a metal rod.

According to Yaneva someone had access to her written testimony to the police and has intentionally destroyed the evidence. She was clear that the murder was committed by two men and since 2006 law enforcement have known who they are.

Anyone who has facts about the murder of the Belneyski sisters will be questioned, the Pazardzhik District Prosecutor Dimitriya Gancheva said.

Gancheva, who is monitoring the case, was clear that after having read in detail what was said by Yaneva, the prosecution will take a final decision whether the teacher will be called as a witness.

She concluded that so far thousands of people have been interrogated and that even the mother of the murdered girls does not believe Yaneva's statement.

Sisters Rositsa (18) and Kristina (15) Belneyska went missing in January 2006, after leaving a disco bar in the town of Pazardzhik. The sisters were found dead at the beginning of February near the town of Peshtera.

The case remains unsolved. Three years after the murder, among raging forensic controversy and the unexplained death of Bulgaria's most renowned coroner, the 29-year-old prisoner from Pazardzhik, Lazar Kolev, became the prime suspect in the case.
