The GERB party of the Bulgarian PM-to-be, Boyko Borisov, is going to bring back some of Bulgaria's leading experts in order to appoint them Ministers in the new government.

The most successful Member of the European Parliament of the GERB party, Rumiana Jeleva, is going to become Bulgaria's new Foreign Minister. On June 5, Jeleva was reelected to the EP as the No. 1 candidate on the GERB party ticket.

Another MEP of the GERB party, energy expert Vladimir Urutchev is almost 100% certain to be place in charge of Bulgaria's energy policy; it is not clear yet whether the energy sector will be set in a new Ministry of Energy, or whether it would remain a part of the Economy Ministry. In the latter case, Urutchev is going to be a Deputy Minister, in the former - a Minister.

The Bulgarian MEP in 2007-2009 from the GERB party, Nikolay Mladenov, who did not run in the June 5 EP Elections, is going to become Bulgaria's new Defense Minister.

A key member of the team of the Bulgarian EU Commissioner Meglena Kuneva - Andriana Sukova-Tosheva is going to become Bulgaria's new Minister of Agriculture, according to a Monday's report of the Standart Daily.

According to the paper, Sukova-Tosheva enjoys the trust of the European Commission, and that would help her in restoring Brussels' confidence in Bulgaria, and unfreezing the blocked SAPARD funding for the country.
