The new national anti-crisis program must be passed by the Parliament during the new cabinet's first 100 days.

The deadline was set by the Bulgarian Confederation of Independent Trade Unions (KNSB) and announced by the KNSB Chair, Zheliyazko Hristov, Friday.

The Unions further insist on changes in the Tax Act and the Constitution, updates in the 2009 budget and emergency work on the 2010 budget.

KNSB also request the passing of a new Election Act during the first year of the new cabinet's term.

"If the unemployment rate goes up, the voters will take the streets in the fall," Hristov stated.

KNSB congratulated the Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (GERB) party for their landslide victory in the July 5 general elections.
