Gallup: Borisov's GERB to Win 30% in Bulgaria Elections

Sofia Mayor Boyko Borisov's party GERB is going to win between 26% and 30% in Bulgaria's Parliamentary Elections on July 5, according to the latest Gallup poll.

According to Gallup, the ruling Bulgarian Socialist Party will get between 19% and 23% of the votes. Its junior partner, the ethnic Turkish Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) is going to get about 15%. The nationalist "Ataka" party is predicted to receive between 9% and 11%, and the rightist Blue Coalition - between 7% and 9%.

The Order, Law, Justice (RZS) party, the LIDER-Novoto Vreme ("New Time") Coalition, and the ruling National Movement for Stability and Progress of the former Tsar and former PM Saxe-Coburg are all expected to have more than 4% of the votes, and thus win MP seats.

Gallup expects a voter turnout of between 55% and 60%, which means that between 3,5 and 3,7 Bulgarians will cast their votes on July 5, parliamentary elections.
