New Swine Flu A(H1N1) Case in Bulgaria's Stara Zagora

A new case of the swine flu virus, A(H1N1), has been discovered in the southern Bulgarian city of Stara Zagora.

A 22-year-old patient has been hospitalized with the virus there. The man is a student in the UK, and came back on June 25 for his summer vacation. Three days later he was down with the flu, and was hospitalized on June 29.

The test results that came back from Sofia on July 1, proved that the man had contracted the swine flu virus. The patient is in a stable condition.

This is third swine flu case in the city of Stara Zagora. Last week the first two patients were discharged - a 41-year-old woman, and her 5-year-old son. The woman has been living in Florida, USA, for 12 years.
