With just days ahead of the July 5 general elections in Bulgaria local pollsters note a trend for increased voter activity.

About 3 M and 800 000 voters are expected to go to the polls Sunday, sociologist Petar Zhivkov said during the early morning show of the Bulgarian TV channel Nova Televizia Wednesday.

Zhivkov also stated that the polls show the ruling National Movement for Stability and Prosperity (NMSP) party, of former Tsar and PM, Simeon Saxe-Coburg, whose inclusion in the future Parliament is at stake, will be able to overcome the 4% threshold.

However, according to the latest polls of the "Alfa Research" agency, 5 parties only would with 100% certainty secure seats in the 41st National Assembly: the self-proclaimed center-right Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (GERB), the ruling Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), the ethnic Turkish Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS), the far-right nationalist Ataka, and the opposition, rightist "Blue Coalition" between the two biggest right-wing parties, Democrats for Strong Bulgaria (DSB) and the United Democratic Forces (UDF).

Nikolay Nikolov, expert from another polling agency, "Barometer Info", told Nova Televizia it was extremely difficult right now to make any forecast about the next Cabinet.

Many Bulgarian pollsters think there will be a new round of elections in September.

The experts further stated Ataka was taking lead in areas where they conduct active campaigning while BSP is showing better results than expected
