2 Bulgarians Busted by Italian Police over Human Trafficking

Italian police in the province and city of Ancona arrested two Bulgarians, a man and a woman, and charged them with human trafficking.

The authorities made the arrests after discovering 10 illegal emigrants, all Kurds, hidden under the double bottom of a truck's carriage.

The truck, bearing Dutch license plates had arrived on a ferry from Greece.

The police confiscated the truck while the two Bulgarians are held behind bars awaiting a Court interrogation in Ancona.
