Bulgaria Rightist Coalition Will Get 18th MEP in Fall 2009

The Bulgarian right-wing Blue Coalition will be the one the send Bulgaria's 18th MEP after the Lisbon Treaty come into force in Fall 2009.

The final results of the vote counting show that the Blue Coalition has the biggest unused remainder.

The final results show that out of 6 672 274 eligible to vote, the real voting ballots are 2 576 434, and the blank ones are 25 245.

The distribution of the real votes is as follows:

GERB - 627 693 or 24,36%
Coalition for Bulgaria - 476 618; 18,5%
DPS - 364 197; 14,14%
ATAKA - 308 052; 11,96%
NMSP - 205 146; 7,96%
The Blue Coalition - 204 817; 7,95%
RZS - 120 280; 4,67%
Forward - 57 931; 2,25%

RZS and Forward will not send any MEP, because they do not pass the 5,88% limit.
